These terms of sale apply for all goods sold in this shop. All product names and logos are trademarks of their creators. Pictures of artifact presentations shown on Spaceflori.com are sample photos. Due to the nature of these artifacts, each presentation is unique in its own way and therefore your actual artifact can vary in shape and look.
Prices and payment instructions
All prices are calculated in US-Dollar and will be converted by the daily exchange rate into Euro if you select "Euro" as currency. After the checkout you are able to pay immediately for your order using your creditcard or paypal - you'll be automatically linked to our secure Worldpay payment page or Paypal. Payment by check, money order, banktransfer or cash has to be made within 14 days after your order has been placed unless other arrangements have been made. Orders within 7 days (e.g. lots won on Ebay or Astroauction) can be sent together, of course, to save shipping costs, please contact us in advance of your order then.

Shipping
Item(s) will be shipped immediately after receipt of funds. If an item is found to be in damaged condition you are requested to file a claim immediately at the receipt of your damaged package with your postman, later claims wont be accepted by your postal service. We will then provide an immediate replacement or refund and take care of further insurance issues. Same applies if a package is completely lost. Please click onto "shipping costs" associated with every item to learn more about our shipping options and costs.
Ownership
Spaceflori.com holds ownership of any product till the time the item is fully paid that means e.g. that a check is cleared by your issuing bank or a creditcard payment has been clearly finally.
Garantuee
Spaceflori.com garantuees the authenticity of any item sold. Please note that this garantuee is void if you alter or change any presentation or article, remove the artifact or misplace any of the documentation that comes along with it. All products are sold under German national law.
Return policy
Spaceflori.com garantuees a one month return policy from the day of receipt for any item sold by Spaceflori.com SpaceShop and a four week return policy for any Spaceflori artifact presentation with a full refund and no questions asked. Please note that all refunds are excluding shipping and handling costs (except returns within Germany, see our German-language policy for further details).
Remarks about the flown artifact presentations
One of Spaceflori.com most important principles is to ensure the preservation of historical space artifacts, and like this the fragments we supply on our flown presentations are nearly always sourced from artifacts that are fragments themselves of a larger object, such as pieces of heatshields or strips of Kapton foil.
The presentations offered on this site have neither been approved nor endorsed by any of the connected astronauts, although some pieces of our artifact material originates from astronauts private collections, the astronaut has not personally approved our specific edition. Several of our customers have successfully obtained astronaut signatures on our presentations, but we must point out that, in general, astronauts are reluctant to sign any artifact not specifically originating from themselves unless it is made unequivocally clear that by signing they are neither endorsing the edition nor authenticating the artifact itself. If you do seek an astronaut signing of your presentation certificate we would be happy to provide you with a letter from us indicating the source of the originating artifact and advising the astronaut that the artifact certification is from us with no onus on them to authenticate or certify.
Moondust sales legality
The Nasa attitude and position regarding the ownership of trace samples of lunar dust is historically that they have raised no objections with the proviso that they were obtained as residual material from artifacts that have been de-acquisitioned by legitimate means. All our lunar dust has been obtained from such artifacts.
There are several precedents of the trading of lunar material trace samples that confirm the validity of that position:
- The trace lunar dust on Alan Beans lunar EVA spacesuit lunar patches contained within his paintings
- Various samples of lunar dust sold at the Superior Space Auction during the last years
- Lunar dust residue on several artifacts sold by Apollo astronauts
- Lunar dust residue on Apollo 15 patch sold at Christies Auction
The lunar dust samples offered by us were obtained in a manner commensurate with the Nasa position, see the Certificate of Authenticity image for further information. We therefore conclude that the sale and subsequent ownership of these samples does not compromise the existing Nasa position on the matter. However, given the apparent sensitivity regarding ownership of such samples it is prudent that Spaceflori.com states that these samples are sold under German national law without the UN trading terms, and if as a prospective purchaser you have any doubts regarding the legality of ownership of these samples within your country then please check first with your own national laws.
