Flown artifact presentations

Spaceflori.com has started their artifact presentation series in 2001 with the sale of a Mercury Redstone 3 - Alan Shepard - flown piece of parachute and Apollo 8 Kapton foil.

Both presentations have been sold out pretty fast and became highly sought after collectibles themselves today. More presentations have been added over the years proving once again that they represent a serious and inexpensive alternative to larger flown artifacts and hardware pieces. Pretty soon almost the entire US space program was covered with flown artifacts from almost any manned spaceflight before the Shuttle program has started. So far only two space missions are not yet covered by Spaceflori flown artifact presentations : MR-4 /Gus Grissom and MA-6 / John Glenn. We are confident that we can add these one day to our stock !

One of the most important principles while creating an artifact presentation is to make sure the source of the artifact is valid and known. We always try to get the best possible artifact available from an astronaut and if that is not available we choose either a known authentic artifact such as a piece with serial numbers that can be verified or from other credible sources with a valid background.

Also we always choose artifacts that are already larger fragments of a certain item, our most important principle is to preserve history and keep things intact - for example we won't be cutting up a checklist or another artifact that is complete in itself.

With a certain pride we confirm that in more than 10 years since the launch of the first presentation not even a single artifact has been questioned or proven otherwise than described.
